The St. Thomas More Society of Arkansas hosted its annual Red Mass on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in downtown Little Rock.  It was a remarkable event.  Bishop Anthony Taylor delivered a moving homily about the Fourth Beatitude and the significance of righteousness, justice and holiness.  Click here for a copy of Bishop Taylor's homily.

Following the Mass, Congressman French Hill presented a moving speech on the likenesses of the lawgivers in the chamber of the United States House of Representatives and the importance of the origins of law in our government.

And finally, the St. Thomas More Society bestowed the St. Thomas More Award upon the late Phil Carroll, a longtime partner at the Rose Law Firm and founder of the St. Thomas More Society.  Accepting the award was Mrs. Diane Carroll who sat at the high table with Bishop Taylor, Congressman Hill, Circuit Judge Mary Ann McGowan, Fr. Greg Luyet and Dc. Noel "Bud" Bryant.

The St. Thomas More Society of Arkansas extends its thanks to the many people who helped make it a great success.  Please mark you calendars for next year's Red Mass, which will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in downtown Little Rock.
